SPIRITVALE

PATCH / VERSION 0.35

Dragon Knight, Dragon Souls and the Status Rework

SpiritVale 0.35 (31 October 2026): the Dragon Knight advanced class with full skill values and Dragon Souls, plus a global status rework that touches every build.

The update in the note's order

The 31 October 2026 announcement titled 0.35 - Dragon Knight is one of the longest notes this game has received, and it reads in nine blocks: the new advanced class and its entry requirements, the spear skill list, Dragon Souls with their ultimate skills, the four Wyrmscale skills, the Dragon Tamer artifact and grimoire list, a Weaver grimoires section, new spears and offhands, Dragon Knight exclusive items, and a balance-and-fixes block that ends with cosmetics. The ordering matters for reading it correctly: everything from the class entry through the exclusive items is scoped to players taking Dragon Knight, while the balance block is not. This site's full class mechanics breakdown lives on the Dragon Knight guide page; this entry records the release itself and the parts other guides need to re-check.

Entry requirements are finally published

The 29 October notice asked players to have a Knight prepared and published nothing else about the route in. 0.35 states it: advance from Knight at Job Lv.50 and bring the Master any one Conquered relic — Fierceness of Conquered Fire, Tenacity of Conquered Earth or Celerity of Conquered Wind. The same note publishes those three relics as new offhands with their stats, which closes the loop between the advancement choice and the gear it hands you. What the note never states is where the relics drop, so the route is documented but not yet farmed.

Dragon Souls and the Wyrmscale layer

The class signature is a three-soul system — Pyrescale for Multistrike and HP Siphon, Stormscale for Attack and Move Speed with autoattack MATK, Rockscale for defenses and Threat — with a published fork between transforming into the dragon and summoning it via the How to Tame Your Dragon grimoire. Three ultimate skills work with a soul: Volcanic Rage, Odin Sphere and Boulder Run, one per element, and the four Wyrmscale skills change their effects per soul. The Dragon Tamer artifact set grants two of the named grimoires, and the three class tomes bind each soul to its matching attunement and enchant. Nine new spears and two extra soul orbs round out the equipment list. No drop sources are published for any of it.

The Weaver section is the quiet first

The note carries a Weaver Grimoires block — Weave of Claw and Fang, Weave of Petals and Thorns, Weave of the Cleaving Moon — the first official mechanics text Weaver has received. The store page still pairs Weaver with no base class, so the eight-for-seven specialization list now has its least-documented entry carrying actual grimoire data. Whether a full Weaver page becomes possible depends on a future note answering the base-class question; a grimoire list alone is not a class description.

The status rework touches every build

The balance block is the part of 0.35 that outlives the release hype. Status damage roughly doubles — the power divisor moves from 10 to 5 — and now scales with your damage modifiers, with Final Damage excluded so Burning Rage no longer feeds its own loop. Bleeding, Poison, Decay and Anathema now deal 3% max HP per tick. All statuses land before block, so Stagger and friends apply through a blocked hit. Multi-hit skills apply a stacking status once per hit instead of once per cast, which is a multiplier on every DoT-stacking build in the game. Auto-attack no longer resumes by itself after a skill, Guardian, Fury and Death Bonds can be cast on yourself, Judgement Blade's area grows from 2 to 3, Dark Claw rescales around level, and the Necromancer grimoires Bone Legion and Dancing Dead give fewer Summon Skeleton levels (4 to 3 and 3 to 2) with summon damage removed from Dancing Dead. Gladys Armguards drop their level requirement from 100 to 50 and Gladys Kunai rolls Ranged substats instead of Melee.

What the announcement does not publish

Four gaps from the pre-release caution survive into the notes. There is still no statement about how Dragon Knight relates to Paladin. There is no PvP section, so the class position against the 0.34.2 advanced-class level gate is unstated. There are no drop sources for the relics, spears and soul orbs. And there is no tier list or recommended build order anywhere in the note. A guide that fills any of these gaps is supplying its own invention, and this ledger will add each answer only when a later official note supplies it.

Which pages this patch touches

The Dragon Knight guide carries the class mechanics and is the release's companion page. The Knight guide now treats the second specialization as documented rather than announced, with the Paladin-relationship caveat intact. The artifact sets guide and the cards and artifacts guide describe the Grimoire crafting chain that the three new class tomes plug into. The PvP guide is deliberately unchanged by this entry: 0.35 has no PvP section, and the 0.34.2 queue rules it documents are not restated or amended by the release.
