These SpiritVale patch notes are an index rather than a copy. Every SpiritVale update listed below links to the developer's own announcement, and each entry says which parts of the game it moved, so you can match an older guide to the version it actually describes.

Latest official updates

29 October 2026 — Maintenance notice ↗: Servers go under maintenance on Friday, 30 October at 9:00 PM EST for around two to three hours, for a new update that includes Dragon Knight, a new advanced class for Knight. The post asks players to have a Knight prepared and says patch notes will be posted later, so this entry records scheduling and scope only — no version number, skill list or level requirement has been published.

18 October 2026 — 0.34.2 ↗: Gem and crystal drops were added to Echo bosses — Ghost Gem from Abyss Archon and Echo Wizard Master, Shadow Gem from Lycanthrope and Echo Weaver Master — alongside a new Wraith Boss Lure. The Resonance Core drop rate moves from 0.01% to 0.1%, monster damage falls on A, B and C ranked maps (45% to 30%, 30% to 20%, 15% to 10%), and Boss Lure and Spire Compass crafting costs are halved on Memory (20 to 10). PvP now gates queueing to level 100 advanced classes, caps a party at two players, revises ranks and consolidates the regional queues: NA, EU and SA share one queue that starts in NA, while OCE, SEA and ASIA share one that starts in ASIA.

12 October 2026 — Balance changes ↗: Paladin's High Guard no longer grants Ground Resist, and the note marks that change PvP only. Damage to and from element mods no longer works on Players and Summons, which the note says also affects Faith. Berserker's Dusk Scythe and Trident of Tides drop from 5% to 3% cooldown reduction, and Unyielding receives a cooldown fix.

10 October 2026 — 0.34.1 ↗: PvP follow-up: PvP level scaling raised from 100 to 150 (mainly HP and MP), Swift Intervention Grimoire disabled in PvP, and non-PvP-exclusive Gladys gear no longer account bound. The note also lists fixes for Heavy Loadout and offhand hotbar swaps, party formation and rewards in 5v5 Conquest, and PvP channels appearing in the Spire.

9 October 2026 — 0.34.0 — PvP Conquest ↗: 5v5 Conquest with three capture points, a PvP lobby, Valor rewards exchangeable for Gladys gear, materials, EXP tomes and titles, and a new offhand item type that works alongside a weapon while keeping two-handed stance. Damage is reduced by 82.5% in PvP and healing by 65%. Party bonuses are also restated: Each Take pays each member from the damage they dealt, while Even Share adds +20% EXP and +10% gold and drops per member, shared evenly across the whole map.

2 October 2026 — Store event ↗: SpiritVale is 35% off — a promotion published through the same feed. It is worth knowing that the developer uses this channel for sales and events as well as patches, so an announcement is not automatically a patch note.

1 October 2026 — 0.33.0 — Halloween Event ↗: The Halloween event runs for the whole of October: Trick or Treat bags drop from regular and special Halloween monsters, open for Halloween Candy and other rare drops, and the Candy trades for cosmetics during the event only. Field farming is buffed with published Box of Mastery rates by map tier (S 0.3%, A 0.25%, B 0.2%, C 0.15%) and essence rates of S 3x, A 2.5x, B 2x and C 1.5x. Grimoire crafting drops from 25 to 20 Masterwork Cores, and the note carries separate balance sections for Necro, Wizard, Gunslinger, Priest and Paladin.

22 September 2026 — 0.32.1 — Linux Build ↗: Range fixes for Black Blade and Judgement Blade, a fix for the Spire last floor failing to award its title, Rage removed from all monsters, Shinobi clones no longer stealing aggro, a fix for controller aim with leap skills, Advanced Boxes added to Starfall, and monsters now only showing red cast circles for harmful skills. The Market Board moves next to the Storage NPC, and the Auction House becomes reachable through the UI for browsing and buying only, while listing and collection still require the Market Board. The note also carries the Linux client fix.

21 September 2026 — 0.32.0 — Advanced Artifacts & Grimoires ↗: Advanced artifacts and Grimoire crafting arrive, crafted at class masters from the matching artifact set, Masterwork Cores and a corrupted core. The update also touches Echoing Spire and the ranked-map system, and our artifact sets guide carries the crafting summary.

19 September 2026 — Maintenance notice ↗: A service notice confirming the 21 September maintenance window for the 0.32.0 push, with the patch notes linked from the post. Treated here as a scheduling reference rather than as a balance source.

10 September 2026 — PTR testing notice ↗: The developer opened the publictest branch ahead of 0.32.0 and published the library steps to join it. This is the documented route that produced the Advanced Artifacts and Grimoires build, and it is why the 0.32.0 notes are treated on this site as tested before release.

These links lead to the official announcements. The newest release has its own 0.34.2 breakdown, which quotes the announcement and flags what it leaves unpublished. The 29 October maintenance notice is tracked on the Dragon Knight page, because the class has scheduling detail and no published mechanics yet. Our leveling guide covers the party EXP and map-rank numbers, and the Knight guide covers what the PvP split means for a front-line setup and what the new advanced class does not change. The older indexed releases remain below for historical reference.

How to read this ledger

Three rules keep it useful. First, a version only means something next to the change it made: "0.33.0" tells you less than "0.33.0, which moved the Gunslinger sniper numbers". Second, an announcement is not always a patch — the feed also carries sales, maintenance windows and PTR notices, and those are labelled as such above rather than presented as balance changes. Third, when an announcement lists changes per class path, treat the paths it does not mention as untouched; the developer's notes are structured that way, and reading one class section as a game-wide change is the most common way to mis-date a build.

Which guide on this site assumes which version

Version-sensitive advice is not spread evenly across the site. The leveling guide carries the published EXP and map-rank arithmetic from 0.32.0 and the party bonus rules restated in 0.34.0. The builds guide uses the 0.33.0 class-by-class balance sections and the 12 October note as its worked examples. The cards and artifacts guide and the artifact sets guide follow the 0.31.0 card entries and the 0.32.0 to 0.33.0 Grimoire crafting chain. The Summoner guide and the Summoner class page track the 0.31.0 Bond Targets work and the 0.33.0 skeleton mage change, while the Acolyte guide and the Acolyte class page track the 0.33.0 Priest adjustments and the PvP healing multiplier from 0.34.0.

What the announcements do not publish

The notes are detailed about the values they change and silent about everything else. They do not publish a tier list, a recommended build order, or a cap for a stat introduced mid-development such as Bond Targets. When a guide states one of those things, the statement came from its author rather than from the developer, and this ledger will not restate it as fact.

Each indexed release below has its own page recording the editorial rule this site applies: a claim is only added to a guide after a named source, version and review date exist for it.

Frequently asked questions

Where are the official SpiritVale patch notes?

The developer publishes them on Steam. The SpiritVale store page links to the announcement feed, and each entry in this ledger links to the specific announcement it summarises rather than to the feed index.

Why does this site not copy the full SpiritVale patch notes?

Because a copy ages badly. This ledger records the version, the date and the specific changes that affect the guides on this site, and links to the original announcement so you can read the complete list at the source.

What is the newest SpiritVale update?

0.34.2, published on 18 October 2026, is the newest versioned patch. The newest official announcement is later than that: a 29 October 2026 maintenance notice for an update that adds Dragon Knight, a new advanced class for Knight, with servers scheduled down from 9:00 PM EST on 30 October for around two to three hours. Its patch notes have not been published yet, so no version number exists for it. Check the official announcement feed for anything newer than this page's review date.
