SpiritVale Boss Guide: Pre-Fight Checklist & Drop Research
Before a SpiritVale boss run, confirm the exact encounter and server version, check its access or summon requirements, and agree on your party's reset plan. Use the checklist below to prepare and troubleshoot attempts. This page is a preparation guide, not a verified list of boss locations, summon recipes, or drop rates.

Confirm the exact boss and version
Start with the boss name, current map, summon condition, and game version. A strategy for a similarly named encounter, an older patch, or a different group size can create an avoidable wipe.
Plan the group before the pull
Choose a regroup point, assign communication responsibility, and agree on when the group will reset. Bring notes on actual observed mechanics, not assertions copied from a source without an update date.
If you cannot start the encounter
Record the boss name, map, server type (live or PTR), and exact message shown. Compare any access or summon requirement with the current client before spending another item. A missing requirement, an old guide, and a server issue need different answers; do not assume repeated attempts will resolve all three.
After a failed attempt: change one thing
Write down when the attempt failed, what you saw immediately beforehand, and where the party was standing. On the next attempt, test one adjustment such as positioning or coordination, then compare the result. Keep observations separate from explanations you have not tested; a single wipe does not establish a hidden mechanic or required build.
Treat drop claims with care
A drop table is a version-sensitive claim. Link to its original database or announcement, label it as official or community-maintained, and state when it was checked. This editorial rule is stricter than a quick list, but it prevents outdated farming advice.
